Jet Airways offers cheap flights to India for women

Female travellers booking flights to India during March could be in luck if they plan to travel with Jet Airways.

This is because the carrier has launched a promotion offering women a ten per cent discount on domestic flights in India and a five per cent reduction on international routes throughout March.

It is designed to coincide with International Women's Day, which falls on March 8th.

For ten days, from March 5th to 15th, women who are members of the Jet Privilege (JP) scheme and travel on any of the company's services will receive an additional 5,000 JP Miles.

People looking for cheap flights to India are also advised that group bookings with at least one female passenger will also receive the applicable discount.

The Indian airline currently offers flights to Mumbai and Delhi from Britain's capital, which could be of use to people hoping to explore the country.
