Book flights to India for one of the worlds best massagesPeople in search of the perfect massage should book flights to India and pay a visit to Meena Guring, according to one travel writer.

Adriaane Pielou has picked out her ten favourite therapists around the world and Meena is one of the best when it comes to massages.

The Daily Telegraph journalist highlighted a testimonial from Espa founder Susan Harmsworth, who commented that the Indian masseuse "touches the lives of everyone she meets".

She also explained that Meena, who is based at the Leela Palace in Udaipur, has been in contact with natural oils, herbal treatments and massage therapies from an early age due to her upbringing in northern India.

The setting in Udaipur could also add to your relaxation, with the Leela Palace resort situated on the banks of Lake Pichola, with the Aravali Mountains rising up behind the complex.

Another tip from Ms Pielou is to pay a visit to reflexologist Heather Coombs, who works at Chiva Som in Thailand twice a year and is able to "diagnose the cause and cure all manner of ailments" using reflexology.
