Indian spa among the best in the worldThose who have booked flights to India and are hoping to catch up on some much-needed relaxation while on holiday may wish to visit a spa that has been described as one of the best in the world.

The Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur is one of the largest residences in the world and is the last remaining great palace of India.

On visiting the spa, travellers can expect to sample a taste of royalty, staying in rooms that were once only reserved for kings and queens.

Visitors can take their pick from a number of ancient and contemporary therapies, whether that be aromatherapy massages, traditional Indian treatments or a whole host of wraps and body scrubs.

Those staying at the Umaid Bhawan Palace cannot fail to be impressed by the 26-acres of lush gardens surrounding the residence.

Completed in 1943, the palace is still to this day the principle residence of the Jodhpur royal family.
