India offers haven for keen photographersThose taking cheap flights to India this winter could be interested in snapping some of the local wildlife.

Wild Photography Holidays has announced plans to offer special tours for visitors to India this Christmas. The excursions will allow keen photo enthusiasts to see some of the country's most stunning animals in their natural habitat.

Lasting a total of 16 days, the tour will involve travelling around Kerala and Tamil Nadu in the south of India over the Christmas and New Year period.

Photography tuition will be provided by Martin Sammtelben and Geraldine Westrupp and there will even be the chance to enjoy some pampering at the Sparsha Spa resort in Tiruvanamalai.

Ms Westrupp explained the new itinerary will "provide some particularly special images and memorable cultural experiences".

She added:"Our native experts will be taking us to the lesser known areas and behind doors normally closed to visitors."

Sparsha Spa has a range of luxury services available to visitors including a meditation centre, health club and yoga studio.
