See Commonwealth Games after flights to IndiaThe approaching Commonwealth Games are this year being held in Delhi, and sports fans from across the Commonwealth nations could be among those looking for late deals on flights to India so they can be there in person to support their favourite athletes on the world stage.

The games, which this year feature Air India as the official airline partner, are set to take place at a number of venues across Delhi, giving visitors the chance to discover different parts of the city.

Organisers of this year's event say they have set the target of creating the best games to date, offering "impeccable standards of service to athletes, officials and the general public".

Issues such as sustainable development and providing quality infrastructure have also been key project principles.

Sports set to be included in this, the 19th Commonwealth Games, include squash, lawn bowls, rugby sevens, weightlifting and athletics.

The next event will take place in Glasgow in 2014.
