Jet Airways has introduced 46 new flights to its domestic services to meet expected demand over the winter months.

Jet Airways launches new Indian flights Jet Airways has introduced 46 new flights to its domestic services to meet expected demand over the winter months.

The airline will now offer a number of direct flights to Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderbad from Vishakhapatnam, as well as introducing flights to Delhi from Bhopal and Ahmedabad.

Nikos Kardassis, chief executive officer of Jet Airways, explained: "With domestic air traffic, particularly business travel, on an upswing, there has been a strong up-shift in demand towards twin-cabin services on several routes."

From March next year, Jet Airway's economy service, Konnect, will begin flights to Aurangabad from Pune.

Jet Airways has a fleet of 91 aircraft – 12 Airbus 300-200, 14 AT 72-500, 11 Boeing 737-700, 42 Boeing 737-800, two Boeing 737-900 and ten Boeing 777-300ER.

The carrier currently flies to 67 destinations including 24 international locations and 43 cities within India, such as Jorhat, Port Blair and Bhubaneswar.
