Budget airline AirAsia X has launched a new promotion offering cheap flights to India, China, Taiwan, Korea and Australia from Kuala Lumpur.

The cheap deals will only be available online and will be offered on services taken between July 1st and November 10th 2011.

Azran Osman-Rani, chief executive officer of AirAsia X, said: "This promo is the best opportunity for guests to maximize on our extensive route network to travel to more places.

"With AirAsia's long haul flights, guests from the AirAsia X network may hop on to Kuala Lumpur and connect to South East Asia and beyond."

The carrier is also introducing a new service that will allow passengers to avoid having to check-in their luggage twice if they are taking onward AirAsia X long-haul flights from Kuala Lumpur.

In August, the airline sold a record-breaking 538,000 seats in 24 hours as part of a special online sale of domestic and international flights.
