Air India Express is set to add two new flights to India as part of its ongoing route expansion.

New flights introduced by Air India Express Air India Express is set to add two new flights to India as part of its ongoing route expansion.

The airline will introduce a new weekly flight to Mangalore from Abu Dhabi as well as another weekly service between Amritsar and Abu Dhabi.

Adding the new services means that Air India Express will now offer travellers 32 weekly flights to India from Abu Dhabi International Airport (ADAC).

Ahmed Al Haddabi, senior vice- president of Airports Operations at ADAC, explained the new services were a reaction to growing demand.

He added: "We are delighted to see that our airline partners are expanding their services to meet our passengers growing demand.

"We continuously support such initiatives, which assist us in offering our customers with more choices, and putting us a step forward towards our goal in becoming a leading world class airport."

Air India Express currently has a fleet of 24 B737-800 aircraft, each with a capacity of 180 economy seats.
