Dine like a Raj on flights to IndiaDiscerning Brits catching first class flights to India with Jet Airways this summer may notice an extra touch of elegance, as the airline has introduced new bespoke crockery onboard.

Passengers in First Class and Premiere cabins will be able to use special fine bone chinaware from the house of William Edwards - one of Britain's leading ceramic designers.

Furthermore, the William Edwards hand-wrought tableware offers another splash of luxury for your in-flight dining experience, with warm rich colours and textures associated with Indian culture used in the design.

Sudheer Raghavan, chief commercial officer at Jet Airways, said: "We are confident that this elegant, bespoke crockery from the house of William Edwards, and our new meal concepts, will be much appreciated by the discerning global traveller."

Jet Airways operates routes from the UK to various Indian destinations including flights to Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi.

The bespoke crockery is now available in First Class, although Premiere passengers will have to wait until June 1st to get this upgrade.
