New James Bond film to be shot in IndiaPeople taking flights to Goa later in the year could find that there are film sets when they arrive as it has been confirmed that the new James Bond movie will be shot there.

Daniel Craig will once again be taking on the role of the secret agent with a licence to kill in the 23rd instalment of the franchise, which is to be directed by Sam Mendes.

It was thought that filming could be held up for several weeks while permission was granted to film in the country, but the Information and Broadcasting Ministry of India has now given the shoot the go-ahead, the Times of India has reported.

As well as filming in Goa, it is thought that Delhi, Mumbai and the area around Ahmedabad will also be used in the film.

Those taking flights to Goa and other Indian locations may face stricter security checks at the airport in the future, after new rules were recently introduced in Mumbai.
