Chocolate treats added to Virgin Atlantic menu Passengers taking flights to India and other locations with Virgin Atlantic will now be able to indulge their sweet tooth with a hot chocolate as the company expands its menu.

The airline has announced that it will now be adding hot chocolate to its list of beverages after so many female passengers asked for it during flights.

And the step has already worked well for the airline as it has had to order for more hot chocolate just two weeks after introducing it.

"Hot drinking chocolate is, by far, the most popular item of food that we've ever introduced on board any of our aircraft," said Virgin Atlantic spokeswoman Janine Doy.

She added there is a clear divide between men and women, with ladies often opting straight for the drink once they see it on the menu.

Some people on flight to India and other places with Virgin could be offered a wide range of rewards, after the airline found that many people prefer gifts or special offers to receiving air miles.
