South Africa to host Virgin Music FestivalAnyone going on holidays to South Africa soon may be interested to hear that Richard Branson has chosen to host a festival in two of the country's cities.

The Virgin Music Festival's South African leg will begin in Johannesburg on December 13th, before going on to Cape Town on December 16th.

Bands such as Maroon 5 and One Republic have already been confirmed, as well as artists such as Snoop Dogg and Eddy Grant, with others expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Unknown artists and local talent will also feature in the line-up, a tradition which has continued since the festival's beginnings in 1996.

"I am delighted that Virgin Festival will continue to make music a big part of people's lives and especially here in South Africa," said Mr Branson.

Anyone interested in booking flights to South Africa could opt to fly with Virgin Atlantic, which offers services to a number of destinations, including Cape Town and Johannesburg.Meet the editors...
