South Africa has been hailed as an excellent, fun-packed destination in which to take a holiday by one writer.

South Africa has been hailed as an excellent, fun-packed destination in which to take a holiday by one writer.

In an article for the Express and Star, Vicky Nash said that the country is breathtakingly beautiful and that it offers plenty of things for holidaymakers to do.

"Even those who have visited time and time again can find new things to do on each trip and never tire of its countless offerings," she enthused.

Ms Nash added that Table Mountain is particularly scenic and that its beauty cannot be captured accurately unless it is seen first-hand.

The writer said that while she did many exciting things during her holiday, the part she enjoyed the most was swimming with Great White sharks off the country's coast, which was described as terrifying but very memorable.
