Budget, dont give up on a dream holidayThe credit crunch does not necessarily mean giving up on that dream holiday, Britons have been advised.

An article by Experian, published on MSN Money, instead suggests getting money-savvy in order to save the pennies where it counts and still be able to afford to go away.

Firstly, long haul destinations are likely to be better value than trips to Europe, with Thailand and South Africa offering particularly good value in terms of everyday expenses.

Secondly, the article suggests booking a package holiday in order to budget more easily, particularly since many companies are offering good value on bundled deals at the current time.

Finally, Britons should make sure they book with an Atol-protected company in order to add more peace of mind when making reservations.

Holidays to South Africa could be particularly good for monkey lovers at the moment - AllNewsWeb reports that Cape Town is currently experiencing a boom in the baboon population, although homeowners who have found them in their bedrooms are not quite so pleased.
