Take a wine tour on holidays to Cape Town, Brits urgedAnyone going on a holiday to Cape Town soon has been urged not to leave without taking a tour of the region's winelands and vineyards.

This is the advice of an article in the Telegraph, which states that many people choose to do this and are pleased with the experience.

The author of the piece said that tours are available only a short drive away from the centre of Cape Town - and that there are plenty to choose from.

Stellenbosch and Franschhoek were both taken in by the journalist - as they are among the more established and well-known areas - and the tour of Kevin Arnold's Waterford Estate was recommended as being a particular highlight.

This allowed both chocolate and wine-tasting in "a sumptuous courtyard", the travel writer enthused.

According to SouthAfrica.info, the Cape's wine culture goes back more than 350 years and the region is one of the biggest and most highly regarded producers in the world.Meet the editors...
