Star in a safari film while on holiday in South AfricaWhile on a Land Rover safari in the Shamwari game reserve in the South African savannah, a professional camera team can film the experience while visitors take in the sights of rhinos, buffalos, giraffes and lions, reported Roderick Gilchrist for the Daily Mail.

Sights range from long-shots of the "whole panorama of Shamwari game reserve in the Eastern Cape - its forests, kops and cliffs, where eagles soar in the slamming 40 degrees celcius heat over herds of Thompsons gazelles" to close-ups of the guests capturing the sites and sounds, he explained.

The footage is then edited with music and titles and is put together by the woman who produces Animal Planet for the Discovery Channel - Lyndal Davies.

Ms Davies told Mr Roderick that it allowed people to take in the sights of the safari experience without worrying about capturing things on film and only seeing it through a lens.

The Shamwari game reserve is a "pleasant drive" for those who are flying to Cape Town as it is situated along the Bushmans River between Port Elizabeth and Grahamstown, said SA-Venues.com.Meet the editors...
