South African recession could attract UK visitorsThe current recession in South Africa could help to attract more visitors from countries such as the UK, claims a tour operator.

Fleewiner believes that the late recession could encourage more people to take flights to South Africa to take advantage of heavily discounted tours and accommodation, reports Easier.com.

Brits taking trips to South Africa over the coming months should consider a tour of Cape Town and the famous Garden Route Safari, which helps to showcase the variety of attractions the country has to offer.

Fleewinter claims the tour allows holidaymakers to combine a city trip, with sandy beaches as well as a chance to see some stunning safari animals.

A South African hotel was recently voted one of the world's top resorts. The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa in Cape Town was well supported in the recent Travel + Leisure's 500 Best Hotels readers poll.
