Cheese lovers flock to South African food festivalMore than 30,000 foodies are expected to descend on Sandringham Farm in Stellenbosch for the annual South African Cheese Festival, which starts tomorrow (April 29th).

This four-day event will see thousands of visitors devour over 17 tons of cheese, including various new and improved flavours and textures.

Brits arriving on flights to Cape Town can get there easily on the N1 to Paarl to get in on the cheesy action.

This year there will be more exhibitors than ever before, and depending on your tastes, you can indulge in the Cheese Emporium, sample the Cheese and Wine Route or enjoy the finer samples on Gourmet Lane.

Children are also well catered for on the Kiddies Snack Food Lane, while there is also a Music Gazebo with live entertainment.

Tickets are available online, with prices starting at R90 (£8) each, while under 12s can go for free.
