People on the lookout for cheap holidays to Thailand should consider investigating Krabi, it has been claimed.

According to Andy Burrows, writing for California's Best Syndication, the region is an excellent destination for a break, with visitors able to experience national parks, camping, scuba diving and much more.

"Much of the emphasis in this region is on the stunning natural beauty and there are many opportunities to venture out into forests or coral reefs. The entertainment scene is fit for the whole family and there are plenty of planned activities to keep you engaged during your stay," he commented.

Mr Burrows added that diving certification courses are available at Krabi and can be completed in four days, allowing tourists to go on expeditions to use their new-found skills.

Krabi is a town on the west coast of southern Thailand at the mouth of the Krabi River into the Andaman Sea.

Tourists can also use Krabi as a portal to get to popular locations such as Ko Phi Phi, Phuket and Ko Lanta.
