Take holidays to Thailand for sound and light showAnyone going on holidays to Thailand in time for the end of February may wish to consider a visit to the Phimai Historical Park in order to witness a special light and sound show that is due to take place.

The Wimaya Nattakan will occur on February 28th and is sure to be a delight for fans of world music, as well as traditional dancing and culture.

Local people perform ancient ritual dances that were once done by boxers, while the Dung Sak mortar and pestle dance will make up part of the second half of the performance schedule.

Visitors may also be interested in the old buildings within the park.

"This is the most complete example of Khmer religious architecture, built in the 11th century and combining Brahman and Buddhist traditions," the official event information states.

Phimai Historical Park is located in the town of Phimai, which is within the Nakhon Ratchasima province and can be reached from Bangkok.Meet the editors...
