Thailand has the constant allure of South East AsiaHolidays to Bangkok are popular in 2009 as Thailand has kept its position as one of the top destinations for British travellers, according to the April 2009 report from the International Currency Exchange (ICE).

Ranking in third place as the most popular currency, the Thai bart was only overtaken by orders for the euro and the United States dollar.

This "[proves] the consistent allure of South East Asia where the exchange rate offers travellers greater value", said ICE.

Andrew Hamilton, head of marketing for the company, said: "The key to a good holiday is leaving money worries at home."
Fourth most popular currency in their top 20 list for April was the Australian dollar.

According to Tourism Thailand, some of the best attractions the country has to offer include the Grand Palace and the Emerald Buddha - Thailand's most sacred monument - Khaosan Road with its street vendors and lively restaurants and the Chatuchak weekend market for an "overwhelming" shopping experience.Meet the editors...
