Travellers looking to kick back and relax on a holiday in Thailand may wish to spend their time at the Chiva-Som spa in Hua Hin.

Chiva-Som will celebrate its 15th birthday this year and is "Thailand's original destination spa", claims the company.

The health resort is located within gardens on the royal resort's beachfront, within seven acres of tropical surroundings.

"I'm a huge fan of Chiva-Som, which for me is real haven, a place to regularly recharge the batteries and completely unwind," said Lisa Tsang, former assistant of Issey Miyake and founder and designer of the brand LisaT.

Ms Tsang has created a Spa Collection of active wear and relaxation clothing made from light cashmere for visitors to the venue.

"I hope that it will add to the enjoyment of guests Chiva-Som," she added.

Travellers who have booked a flight to Bangkok will be able to reach the royal beach resort of Hua Hin on one of the several daily trains that operates between the destinations.

Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park is within a day-trip distance - around 50 kilometres away - and its name translates as 300 mountain peaks. Meet the editors...
