Jet off on flights to Thailand for a pampering spa breakPeople who want to combine beautiful weather, a different culture and pure relaxation should consider booking flights to Thailand and heading up to Chiang Mai.

Located in the northern region of the country, the city is surrounded by rainforests and sweeping green hills.

One spa in Chiang Mai has started offering packages to guests which combine its relaxing treatments with sightseeing trips.

Anyone who decides to visit Tamarind Village will have the choice of new two and three-day packages designed to give travellers a taste of the local area.

In addition to the relaxing treatments on offer, such as aromatic oil massages and back, neck and shoulder massages, tourists will be taken on excursions to see some of Chiang Mai's many temples.

Some of these religious buildings date back more than 700 years and are as old as the city itself.

One of the highlights for holidaymakers is Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, which is situated on the top of a mountain and boasts wonderful views over the city.
