Thailand's Pancake Rocks 'are a must see'

A visit to Khanom is worth it for the Pancake Rocks alone.

Those planning a holiday to Thailand in the near future should be sure to make their way to Khanom, where they will see some spectacular natural beauty, it has been claimed.

According to G Prakash, writing in the Malay Mail, a visit to Khanom is worth it for the Pancake Rocks, which are unique to the area.

"If you visit Khanom, then you simply must experience the amazing Pancake Rocks that are unique to Khanom … the Pancake Rocks are limestone formations resembling stacks of pancakes," the writer said.

Another highlight of the Khanom area is the famous pink dolphins which can be seen from the bay.

Local people believe the pink dolphins, which are actually albinos, bring luck and prosperity.

While on holiday in Thailand, visitors should go on the inflatable kayak tour of the island of Koh Panak, which Martin Sykes, writing in the New Zealand Herald, said was an amazing experience.
