Thailand has amazing sightsPeople who arrive on flights to Thailand have plenty to look forward to on their trip, one travel expert has claimed.

Jemma Purvis, PR for Kuoni, commented that the south-east Asian country offers "stunning beaches and amazing sights".

She also noted that Thailand provides tourists with an opportunity to try a wide range of different activities, from exploring historical sights to relaxing on beaches or even trekking on elephants.

Ms Purvis also recommended that any holidaymakers in the country should have a massage at one of the beaches.

It would appear that travellers are becoming more aware of the wide range of holidays available to Thailand.

Figures released by Sainsbury's Travel Money last week revealed that demand for Thai currency increased significantly ahead of the Easter break, compared with a typical week at that time of year.

According to the currency exchange company, it experienced a 107 per cent increase in demand for the Thai baht.
