New supercar to go on show in Phuket

Anyone who has booked flights to Thailand in July may want to head to Phuket to catch a glimpse of one of the latest supercars to hit the market.

The Royal Phuket Marina is set to show off the latest XJ Jaguar supercar and will be the first place in Asia to display the sought-after vehicle.

As well as seeing the new XJ Jaguar at the end of July, visitors will also find that the Phuket Raceweek is taking place.

Running from July 21st to 25th, the showcase of the Jaguar has been arranged to coincide with this well-known motoring event.

VIPs will be invited to see the car up close and will even have a chance to test drive the vehicle.

Mick Razza, Jaguar overseas operations director, commented: "Set against the stunning backdrop of Phuket's beautiful coastline, guests will experience the highest calibre of driving entertainment."

The Royal Phuket Marina combines accommodation with shops, restaurants and bars. The developers of the complex received the 2010 award for best waterfront development at the Cityscape Awards Real Estate Asia in May.
