Cheap flights to Thailand could benefit from country tourism boomThe tourism market in some parts of Thailand is "exceptionally strong", a sector expert has said, which could make cheap flights to Thailand a popular purchase over the next few months.

According to commercial director of holiday firm Hayes & Jarvis Neil Alobaidi, the Thai travel market has "turned a corner".

Some of the most popular holiday spots in the nation include Koh Samui and Phuket, he said, and noted that despite a number of problems in the travel sector, the country's holiday sector has remained resilient.

He also hinted that cheap flights to Thailand may be easier to come by nowadays.

"Hayes & Jarvis believe that aggressive pricing by hoteliers and airlines has resulted in eye-catching offers that have kept customers booking some of the hardest hit long-haul destinations," he commented.

A recent survey from Holiday Lettings showed that 65 per cent of holidaymakers see a getaway as the most important thing that they spend their disposable income on.
