Thailand hotel gets new general managerThe Amari Residences in Bangkok, due to open in October this year, has appointed its general manager.

Amari, the leading domestic hotel group in Thailand, has appointed Wim Fagel as the new property's general manager and he will also take care of all the pre-opening aspects of the hotel.

Those looking for cheap flights to Bangkok may want to book in to the new property, which has 128 rooms and aims to "showcase modern Asian hospitality at its stylish best with vibrant, modern apartment-style accommodation" and the service for which the prestigious group is known.

Before being appointed as the hotel's new general manager Mr Fagel worked in Nepal as the managing director at Summit Hotel and Summit Nepal Trekking.
