A Bangkok hotel has launched a new 6D cinema experience, offering its visitors a range of thrill rides.

Thrill-seeking travellers catching flights to Bangkok can enjoy the next dimension of cinema at the Rembrandt Hotel, which has opened a cutting-edge 6D Motion Ride.

If you think 3D movies aren't exciting enough, then the new experience from XD Theatre may be just the thing to put you on the edge of your seat.

These heart-pounding rides are designed to make you forget you're sitting in a theatre, with viewers experiencing up to 2Gs of acceleration and 100 movements per second from the patented technology in the seats.

The seven-minute films on offer include trips through haunted mines and rides on an outer-space cosmic roller coaster as well as the family-friendly ravine racer.

Rembrandt Hotel is conveniently located near Bangkok's Sukhumvit shopping district.

Visitors looking for a more relaxing experience can enjoy a treatment at the hotel's spa or a dip in the outdoor swimming pool.

Double rooms start at THB 3,680 (£75) per night, or you can go up-market and book into a terrace suite for THB 7,180 per night.
