Check out Tawipob: The Musical in BangkokTawipob: The Musical will allow travellers who have taken advantage of cheap flights to Bangkok to see a Thai love story on stage.

The story concerns a modern man and woman who must battle the political circumstances they find themselves in to be together.

It is not the first time the musical has been staged in the Thai capital and its repeat performance is evidence of the success it enjoyed among theatre-goers.

Admission to the play starts from 500 baht, with tickets available online and at the box office.

It is due to run until August 7th 2011 at the Muangthai Rachadalai Theatre, which can be found in the Esplanade Shopping Centre on Ratchadapisek Road.

To reach the facility, take the MRT to Thailand Cultural Centre station.

For those that fancy a few drinks after the performance, there are plenty of bars nearby, with a Saatchi & Saatchi executive recently telling Reuters that the quantity and variety of places to relax is impressive.
