New bus services proposed for PhuketPeople on cheap flights to Phuket could be interested to hear that there are plans for additional bus services to be created which will travel from the city's airport.

Phuket director of transport Terayoot Prasertphol has come up with the plans for the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organisation to set up new services which will take people arriving at the terminal to the city's south and west, Phuketwan reported.

There are three routes which are considered to be the most vital, namely Phuket airport to Patong, Kata and Karon in western Phuket, Chalong-Rawai to the south and to Surin and Kamala beaches, which are north of Patong.

''These are the routes that Phuket needs most. These routes are available for contract to the right bidder," according to Mr Terayoot.

Travellers who take cheap flights to Phuket next month could be interested in taking a trip to the Punchline Comedy Club, which is set to host Ian Coppinger and Andre King.
