American Airlines comments on its agreements Travellers taking flights to Thailand and other countries with American Airlines could be interested to know the company has taken on a number of alliance programmes and codeshare agreements over the past year.

In a bid to improve its service to customers, the airline has added codeshare agreements with both Japan Airlines and Qantas, which have helped the company to expand its service around the world.

As well as its partnership with oneworld alliance, it is also operating a number of codeshare partnerships.

It has also signed agreements with more than 25 airlines to make it easier for its customers to pick up frequent flier points.

Kenji Hashimoto, American Airline's vice-president, said: "American will continue to build upon its success with alliance partners to deliver the premier alliance network worldwide."

More people could be planning to book flights to Thailand and other destinations with American Airlines as the company was recently named the best for business travel by readers of Business Traveler magazine.
