Thai Airways signs codeshare with Turkish Airlines Holidaymakers taking flights to Bangkok with Thai Airways could soon be sharing their journeys with travellers from Turkish Airlines.

The two companies have announced they have signed a Free Sale Codeshare Agreement which allows them both to market flights with their own code and flight numbers on a free sale basis.

It now gives people travelling with Turkish Airlines even more choice on flights out of Bangkok, as the agreement covers routes to cities such as Hong Kong, Brisbane, Melbourne and Auckland.

In addition, it allows them to seamlessly connect to these flights when they arrive in Bangkok on a Turkish Airlines craft.

Some people on flights to Bangkok could be planning to travel on to Abu Dhabi, as flights between the two locations were found to be among of the most popular for the United Arab Emirate's airport.
