See hilarious community theatre in Bangkok Travellers on flights to Bangkok could decide to offer their support to local theatre groups by attending a production in the city.

The Bangkok Community Theatre is set to put on a production of the play Nunsense, a comedy musical and former off-Broadway smash hit which follows the story of a convent.

When 52 sisters die after a nasty bout of food poisoning, it is up to five remaining nuns who were out playing bingo and missed the deadly dinner to raise the funds to be able to bury them all.

They decide to put on a show featuring some of their talents before their life in the convent, with hilarious results.

"Nunsense is a joy-filled musical. The musical will make you smile from start to finish," director Michael Allman said.

People interested in seeing local performers after taking flights to Bangkok may also like to head to the Bangkok Guitar Fiesta, which will be taking place in the city from February 3rd to 5th.
