| Description |
The houseboats were originally built 40 years ago and are constructed
from Anjli wood and coir. 55 ftin length and 15 ft in width,
with an average of 20 kms a day, 2 men can easily handle it
with bamboo sticks. Serve traditional vegetarian and non-vegetarian
Kerala cuisine onboard.
Houseboats have all the creature comforts of a good hotel including
furnished bedrooms, modern toilets, cozy living rooms, a kitchen
and even a balcony for angling. Parts of the curved roof of
wood or plaited palm open out to provide shade and allow uninterrupted
views. |
