RESTAURANT & BARS:
Hut Restaurant Kataja
The restaurant follows the same design as the igloos. The large windows give you a great opportunity to admire the surrounding nature and its wildlife, and the fireplace keeps you warm. ‘Kataja’ means ‘juniper’ so the name was carefully chosen to reflect on love for the nature. The regularly changing menu uses mainly the local ingredients, and the food gives you an excellent opportunity to taste the true Lappish flavours. We serve a 3-course meal, and you can choose a collection of recommended wines and arctic cocktails to go with your dinner. During the festive period, we serve a 5-course dinner to make those days that little bit more magical.
The Lounge
The Lounge is an atmospheric and peaceful place to relax during your visit to Magical Pond. You can read a book, socialise with your loved ones, or even play a game. We promise that your day will get off to a great start thanks to the comprehensive breakfast which is served at the Lounge. During the winter season, the Bar offers snack plates and tasty soups which are made from the local ingredients. We also recommend you check out the drinks menu; we have a great selection of wines, sparkling wines, spirits, cocktails, soft drinks, and hot drinks. During the summer season, we are also selling tasty and refreshing Sangria cocktails which are made from Finnish berries.
