Jebel Shams Resort is located in the Wilayat of Al Hamra in the Sultanate of Oman, it is approximately 270 KM South West of the capital Muscat. The drive up the mountain takes about 30 minutes, and part of that journey is by graded track, which would recommend guests use 4wd vehicles, although it is passable with saloon cars.
All of the rooms have air conditioning for the summer and heating for the winter season. The resort is the perfect place to come for winter sun with an average temperature during the day of circa 15 degrees Celsius. A heated swimming pool is currently under construction which will be available for use all year round, and a wide range of activities are available for guests to enjoy. Free Wi-Fi is available across much of the resort if you want to keep in touch with your world; all of the rooms come with satellite TV, although would recommend a roaring camp fire and the stunning pollution free view of the night sky.
