    Anchor near Rajghat. Make a visit to the Fort Chunar this day and learn about the popular art of carpet weaving and Chunnar pottery in the area. Also explore the old British cemetery, the Moghul tombs, the Ramnagar Maharaja’s Palace and Museum before re-boarding the cruise ship at Rajghat. 

  • Day 06 Varanasi-Sarnath

    Explore the bustling and colourful ghats of the Ganges on a boat at sunrise. Post breakfast, drive to Sarnath, 12 kilometres from Varanasi. Here, visit the Deer Park where Buddha preached his first discourse and the Archaeological Museum Sarnath, one of the oldest in India. Reach back in time to discover the local markets in Varanasi in the evening. After the other-worldly ‘Ganga Aarti’ evening ceremony, return to the cruise ship moored at Rajghat. 

  • Day 07 Jaunpur

    Visit the city of Jaunpur. The Jaunpur Fort, the 16th century Shahi Bridge, and the historical Atala Mosque are the major attractions in the city. Return to the ship for lunch and sail towards Ghazipur. Alternatively, you can stay back and explore the local markets of Varanasi. 

  • Day 08 Ghazipur

    After breakfast, visit the tomb of Lord Charles Cornwallis, the lieutenant general of the British during the American Revolution, in Ghazipur. Find a souvenir to take back home in the Ghazipur bazaar. Set sail for Buxar later in the day.

    After breakfast, disembark the cruise ship in Buxar for exploring the battle memorial dedicated to the 1764’s Battle of Buxar. Visit the Bankipore cemetery, containing graves of East India Company officials and local indigo planters. Take a romantic cycle rickshaw ride for exploring the ghats of Buxar later in the day. 

  • Day 10 Maner

    Sail past the Doriganj ghat and the confluence with the Sone River to reach Maner. Here, pay your respects at tombs of Sufi saints Makhdoom Yahya Maneri and Makhdoom Shah Daulat. Sail down to anchor at Patna.
