Nepal is a fascinating country and is loved for its medieval towns and villages, high mountains, enchanting cultures and, most of all, the friendliest people. This tour begins with exploration of the three ancient cities of Kathmandu valley - Kathmandu, Patan and Bakthpur. The journey continues to the tropical lowland jungles of Chitwan National Park, and finally ends at the lakeside town of Pokhara in the foothills of Annapurna Himalaya.

Day 1 UK to Kathmandu

UK to Kathmandu
Depart from UK an overnight flight to Kathmandu via Delhi.
Day 2 Kathmadu

Kathmadu
Arrive Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel for three nights. Kathmandu, the capital of the Himalayan kingdom of Nepal, is a city of temples, shrines and living Gods.
Day 3 Kathmandu

Kathmandu
Morning city tour visiting Durbar Square noted for its temples, shrines and palaces including the Khasta Mandap, the wooden temple which gave Kathmandu its name, and the temple of Living Goddess or Kumari. Here you will see much evidence of Pagoda style of architecture. Visit Syambunath Stupa with the all-seeing eyes of Buddha overlooking the valley.
Day 4 Kathmandu

Kathmandu
Morning tour of Patan. Also known as Lalitpur, Patan is the oldest of the three major cities in the Kathmandu valley, famous for Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples. Visit Durbar Square, built by Malla King in 1917 where most of the buildings have intricate woodwork, and the Tibetan Refugee Centre. Afternoon free.
Day 5 Kathmandu to Nagarkote

Kathmandu to Nagarkote
After breakfast visit Bodhnath, one of the world,s largest stupa, and Pashupatinath, a pagoda style temple. Also visit the medieval city of Bhadgaon, one of the ancient cities of Nepal, noted for its wooden carved buildings. The main City Square contains many temples including the five-storied Nyatapole Pagoda and the Golden Gate. Continue on to Nagarkot (7200ft), which offers panoramic views of the mighty Himalayas from Mt Everest in the east to Dhaulagiri in the west. Remainder of the day at leisure. Day 6 Nagarkot

Early in the morning view the sunrise over the Himalaya. On a clear day you can see Mt Everest from here. Remainder of the day at leisure to enjoy the spectacular view of the mountains. Nagarkot also has plenty of short walks to offer. A gentle 90 minute walk to see the Tamang culture (Optional).
Day 7 Nagarkote to Chitwan

Nagarkote to Chitwan
After breakfast drive to Chitwan National Park, home to one horned rhinoceros, sloth bear, wild boar, gaur, crocodiles, the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger and a variety of bird and reptile species.Two night stay at the hotel.
Day 8 Chitwan

Early morning and afternoon jungle visits.
Day 9 Chitwan to Pokhara

Chitwan to Pokhara
Early morning wildlife viewing. After breakfast enjoy a picturesque drive to the lakeside town of Pokhara in the foothills of the mighty Annapurna Himalaya. Pokhara offers the magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Himalchuli, Machhapuchhre and five peaks of Annapurna. Two night stay at the hotel.
Day 10 Pokhara

This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of Pokhara valley visiting the city, new market, Seti Gorge, Gupteshawar cave, Devi Fall and Tibetan Camp. Visit Thakali Basti to see Thakali culture. Afternoon at leisure or take a boat ride on the beautiful Phewa Lake.
Day 11 Pokhara to Kathmandu

Pokhara to Kathmandu
Drive to Kathmandu. Afternoon free. Evening enjoy the traditional Nepali dinner (Optional).
Day 12 Kathmandu to UK Departure
