Overview

Set on one of the largest islands in the Maldives, with more than two miles of immaculate white beaches, LUX* South Ari Atoll offers luxury island living and a host of exciting experiences. For an amazing Maldives holiday, guests can achieve total relaxation at the LUX* Me Spa, with its overwater treatment rooms with a glass panel floor.

The resort has a world-class PADI diving centre, two lush infinity pools, and a house reef just a five-minute boat trip away. Guests can join a dhow boat excursion to explore the lagoon with a resident marine biologist, and can visit one of the few places where you can swim with majestic whale sharks.

Children are well catered for; there’s a fun kids’ club, and on arrival youngsters are given a treasure hunt booklet they can work on during their stay, and maybe win a prize. Grown-ups can use the fitness centre, two tennis courts, bicycle hire, and choose from a range of motorised and non-motorised water sports.

The resort provides surprise pop-up treats, such as impromptu cinema screenings on the beach. When it comes to dining, there are five bars and eight restaurants to choose from. Middle Eastern fare is on offer at Senses, top-notch Italian dishes at Allegria, or enjoy a sophisticated take on Southeast Asian street food at East Market.
