(BA)Frequent Flyer Programme: The Frequent Flyer programme of British Airways is the Executive Class, which entitles customers to BA miles on particular flights with BA or its oneworld alliance partners. Besides flying, one may collect miles by booking hotels, renting cars, and shopping from BA’s network partners. The Executive Class has three tiers, namely Blue, Silver, and Gold. Customers are also upgraded to different tiers on the basis of miles earned.
Full tier points are awarded on all fares except for reduced economy fares. In this segment, 25% tower points are credited. For retaining silver or gold status, every membership year, the customer needs to earn the minimum prescribed number of tier points and fly BA at least four times. Tier points are made 0 as and when someone is upgraded to Silver or Gold tier or when the membership year ends.
