Korean Air is the flag carrier and largest airline of South Korea. The airline operates flights to as many as 39 countries across the world. Korean Air has also earned the 4 star ranking from SKYTRAX. It is also a member of the SkyTeam alliance, the second largest airline alliance in the world. The airline has not looked back since it was formed in 1962 and has almost grown 150 times.

Frequent Flyer Programme: The frequent flyer programme operated by Korean Air is Skypass. There is even a junior membership scheme, which is meant for children under the age of 12. Lounges: There are KAL and SkyTeam lounges in different airports including London Heathrow. Cabin Classes: Korean Air has three classes of cabin. These are:

Baggage Policy: Passengers in all the classes are entitled to two pieces of checked baggage. The per piece weight of baggage for passengers flying first class and prestige class should not exceed 32kgs, while the size should not be more than 62 inches. The per piece baggage weight limit for Economy class passengers is 23 kgs, while the size is 62 inches. Factors like membership grade and travel itinerary also govern the baggage policy.
