One of India’s youngest airports, the Cochin International Airport located in Nedumbassery, near Kochi is owned by CIAL (Cochin International Airport Limited) a consortium of private investors who have partnered with the Kerala Government to build this magnificent aerodrome. This is the first airport in the country which is outside the ambit of the Airport Authority of India and is built in traditional architectural style of Kerala.
