Airport Connectivity: Connectivity from the city to airport is quite good and the AirTrain JFK light rail system links JFK airport to the region's rail transportation network. The New York Airport Express Bus Service operates a direct service to the Port Authority Bus Terminal (Manhattan West Side), Bryant Park and Grand Central Station (Manhattan East Side) respectively. Cabsare available for hire round the clock from the taxi dispatch booths at the airport.

Car Hire: Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz and National have set up their counters at the Arrival terminal for the assistance of tourists requiring car hire services. Complimentary transport service is provided along the Van Wyck Expressway (I-678) that enables them to reach the offices of car hire companies and pick up their self-driven cars.

Car Parking: Exemplary car parking facilities define the JFK airport that offers both short-term and long term parking to its patrons. Located 4 miles from the airport is the Lefferts Boulevard that is used for long duration car parking. It is advisable that passengers intending to avail long-term car parking facility should reach the terminal at least 30 minutes prior to departure and make the necessary arrangements. Money and Communications: Cash machines and money exchange counters are available at all terminals, except Terminal 6 where there are only cash machines and no money exchange counters. Located at Building 250 on North Boundary Road is a post office that takes care of all post and courier deliveries. Being a Hotspot, the airport offers wireless internet connectivity to passengers desiring instant internet access and it even offers a mobile phone rental facility in the arrival area of terminal 3.
