Kathmandu Airport Information
Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport (IATA: KTM) is the only international airport in the Nepal and acts as the gateway to the country. The airport is located 6kms from the city centre in the Kathmandu and has around fair share of international airlines connecting the country to cities in Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Within Nepal, the airport is well-connected to various parts of the region by different means of transportation. Tribhuvan International Airport may not be the biggest airport in the region but it has a decent set of passenger-friendly facilities and services, including lounges, several ATMs, shopping and dining.
