Waterlovers Beach Resort

Waterlovers was built from scratch in 2007 by a wonderful Italian couple who dared to make their east African dreams come true, growing a trusted business and family along the way. In 2023, after enjoying many amazing vacations at the property, Nadia and Kirsten took over ownership of Waterlovers with the continued stewardship of Valentina Cappuccini, who has led the Waterlovers ground operations since 2017 and has 20 years of hotel management experience. Both Kirsten and Nadia have worked in Kenya for over a decade: Nadia, as a journalist and documentary filmmaker; and Kirsten, as managing director of a foundation which supports humanitarian efforts and private equity investments. We will continue the Waterlovers’ tradition of incomparable service in laid-back luxury — delivering unforgettable memories to our guests!

• SUITES

  All eight Suites have a spacious private veranda overlooking the ocean and an interior design combining Swahili culture and Mediterranean style. All are equipped with air conditioning, fan, mosquito net, security box, blue-tooth speaker, complimentary wi-fi, and a mobile phone with Kenyan SIM card to use during your stay. Double and triple suites are available.

• VILLA

  For those who wish to get a taste of Kenya while enjoying the privacy and comfort of  a home, we offer private villa with a fully equipped kitchen. The villa offers two spacious double bedrooms on the ground floor, both with air conditioning, fans, mosquito nets, and private bathrooms. On the upper floor, in the open gallery, you will find another two king size beds and a third bathroom complete with shower. All beds on this upper floor have mosquito nets but no AC, as the design is open to the natural elements surrounding the villa. There is a lovely porch area with sofas, pillows, and a beautifully carved, wooden dining table with enough room for everyone. Housekeeping is included in the rent. For the ultimate luxury we can cater your meals directly at the villa, or you can choose to join us in beach restaurant.

• PENTHOUSE

  The Ocean Penthouse Apartment offers +300 square meters of luxury ocean-front accommodation with stunning views of Diani Beach and the Indian Ocean. The 4-bedroom penthouse is developed on two floors, and features a range of luxury comfort and media accessories, from gym equipment, to flat screen television, a sound system, and more. Three bedrooms are fitted with AC and all beds have mosquito nets and ceiling fans.
