Day 1 Embark Luxor

Embark Luxor
Board the MS Sunray and settle into your cabin. Enjoy a generous buffet lunch and dinner on board. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 2 West Bank - Esna

West Bank - Esna
This morning you’ll visit the West Bank and see the elaborate tombs of the Valley of the Kings and Queens. Also visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, with its huge colonnaded terraces. Continue sailing to Esna. There will be a welcome cocktail reception before dinner this evening.Overnight in Esna.

Day 3 Edfu - KomOmbo - Aswan

Edfu - KomOmbo - Aswan
Sail to Edfu this morning and visit Edfu Temple; also known as the Temple of Horus, this is one of the most well-preserved and impressive ancient Egyptian temples. Sail to KomOmbo and enjoy lunch on board. Next, visit KomOmbo Temple, dedicated to the crocodile-headed god Sobek and the falcon-headed Horus. After dinner there will be an Oriental show and Galabia party, where you’ll be encouraged to dress up in Egyptian costumes. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 4 High Dam - Temple of Philae - Felucca cruise

High Dam - Temple of Philae - Felucca cruise
Morning visits to the Aswan High Dam, the Temple of Philae and the Unfinished Obelisk. Return to the MS Sunray for lunch, then enjoy a felucca cruise around Kitchener’s Island. Enjoy a Nubian show after dinner this evening. Overnight in Aswan.

Aswan
Today you’ll be at leisure to relax on board the MS Sunray or take optional excursions. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 6 KomOmbo - Edfu - Luxor

KomOmbo - Edfu - Luxor
Sail back towards KomOmbo. There will be another opportunity to visit KomOmbo Temple early this morning, when the site will be less crowded. This afternoon you will have another opportunity to visit Edfu Temple. Alternatively, you can relax on the Sun Deck. Continue sailing to Luxor, via Esna. Have fun at another Oriental show and a Galabia party this evening. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 7 East Bank - Luxor

East Bank - Luxor
Morning at leisure on board. This afternoon, visit the temples of the East Bank. Karnak is an enormous complex dedicated to the god Amun-Ra, and is one of the world’s largest religious structures. Luxor Temple, located closer to the modern city, is smaller but equally magnificent, known for its avenue of sphinxes. There will be a belly dance show after dinner this evening. Overnight in Luxor.

Disembark
After breakfast, check out and disembark the MS Sunray.
