Leave the Arusha Town Centre in the afternoon and drive to Tarangire National Park. The drive takes you across the Great Rift Valley and along the fringe of the Maasai Steppe. You can see groups of cattle led by young lads and dotted huts with thatched roofs. You arrive at your camp or lodge in the afternoon and have opportunity to soak in the surroundings and enjoy the facilities.

You visit the Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing.

After an early breakfast you head toward Lake Manyara National Park for enjoying the game drive from morning to noon. The varied vegetation of Manyara ranges from Savannah to evergreen forest to marshes. The national park has the highest biomass densities of big mammals in the planet. Proceed to Karatu or Ngorongoro Conservation Area and arrive at your lodge for late lunch.

Today you go for game viewing on the floor of the Ngorongoro Crater. This 102 square mile paradise was formed by the collapse of an ancient volcano more than twenty-five million years ago. In standing position, it could have been as tall as Mt. Kilimanjaro. The rich fertile soil of this place has produced lush vegetation attracting more than 30,000 resident mammals and a delicate balance of predator and prey. There is a good chance of seeing the “Big Five” of African wildlife during your day of game driving on the crater’s floor. Also, you can spot the black-maned lion, cheetah, black rhino and flamingos. Picnic lunch is served near a hippo pool. In the afternoon, you return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
