Basecamp Wilderness Camp

The seven guest tents at Basecamp Wilderness are strategically sited around the rim of the valley to offer both seclusion and sweeping Naboisho Conservancy views. Newly refurbished for superb, authentic safari comfort, each tent offers either a king-size or twin beds, while the separate bathroom tent features eco-friendly bio-flush toilets and the opportunity to experience one of the all-time classic Masai Mara safari experiences, a bucket shower with the water heated on request. Further opportunities to gaze out over the plains are provided by the seating area on the perfect terrace – there is nowhere finer to recline with a book and a pair of binoculars in hand.

The newly added family tent offers the perfect blend of comfort and style accommodating up to four guests. Elevated on a wooden platform, the spacious tent features two separate wings, each with its own bedroom, bathroom, and private verandah. Each room can be fitted with a king-size or twin bed while the bathrooms, equipped with bucket showers, are positioned at opposite ends of the tent for added privacy. Beautifully furnished with comfortable beddings and thoughtful details, the tent opens onto a large shared deck, providing a welcoming space for families or groups to relax and connect while enjoying uninterrupted views of the rolling plains of Naboisho Conservancy.
