Take a half day tour of Soweto (standing for South West Townships) and learn about the turbulent and inspiring past of this place through touching stories associated with various attractions. Begin with exploring the Kliptown Open Air Museum where the Freedom Charter was adopted in 1955. Next, proceed towards secret meeting place of then banned political parties -Regina Mundi Church before stopping at the Hector Pieterson Museum where you will learn about the tragic riots that claimed life of Hector Pieterson after whom the museum is named.
